This statement is provided in compliance with art. 13 of Legislative Decree no. 196/2003 – Regulations governing the protection of personal details  for all those who interact with the  web services of PAT srl, accessible online starting from the Internet address, this being the home page of the official PAT website.

The statement regards only the PAT website and no other websites incidentally consulted by users through hyperlinks.

The statement is also based on Recommendation no. 2/2001, as adopted by the European authorities for the protection of personal details, united into the Group instituted in art. 29 of Directive no. 95/46/CE, on 17 May 2001 in order to identify certain minimum requirements for the collection of personal details online and in particular the methods, times and nature of the information that the processing parties must provide to users when the latter connect to Internet websites, regardless of the purpose for connection.

Subsequent to consultation of this website, details may be recorded regarding identified or identifiable persons. The party responsible for processing these details  is PAT srl, with head office at Via San Gateano 113, Montebelluna (TV), Italy.


The processing connected with the web services of this website takes place at the abovementioned head office in Montebelluna (TV), Italy and is conducted only by technical personnel of the office appointed for said processing, or by personnel appointed for incidental maintenance work.

No information deriving from the web service is passed on to or distributed to third parties.

The personal details provided by users submitting requests for the dispatch of informative materials (bulletins, CD-ROMs, newsletters, annual reports, answers to questions, etc.) are utilized for the sole purpose of executing the requested service and are passed on to third parties only if necessary in order to achieve said purpose.

The computer systems and software procedures used for this website will acquire certain personal details during normal operation, the transmission of which is required for Internet communication protocols.

This information is not collected for association with identified parties, but by its nature could permit identification of users by way of processing and association with other data held by third parties.

This category includes IP addresses or the computer name domains used by users visiting the website, the addresses in URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) notation of the requested resources, the times of requests, the method utilized to submit a request to the server, the size of the file received in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response from the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters regarding the operating system and the user’s computer environment.

This information is utilized for the sole purpose of establishing anonymous statistical data regarding website traffic and to check correct operation and the data is cancelled immediately after processing. This information could be used for establishing responsibility in cases of hypothetical IT offences against the website: save this latter case, information regarding web contacts does not persist for more than seven days.

Personal details provided voluntarily by users

The optional, explicit and voluntary submission of emails to the addresses indicated on the website result in acquisition of the sender’s address, which is required in order to answer enquiries, along with other incidental personal details included in the message.

Specific summary statements will be progressively referred to or displayed in the web pages provided for specific services on request.

Cookies are not used for transmitting personal information, nor is any use made of so-called persistent cookies or user tracing systems of any type.

The use of session cookies (which are not persistently memorized on the user’s computer and disappear when the browser is closed) is strictly limited to the transmission of session identifiers (consisting of random numbers generated by the server) required for secure and efficient browsing of the website.

For completeness it should be remembered that in some cases (not object of the routine management of this website) the competent authorities may request data and information pursuant to art. 157 of Legislative Decree no. 196/2003, for the purposes of checking the processing of personal details. In such cases response is obligatory under pain of administrative sanctions.


Personal details are processed using automated instruments for the time strictly necessary to fulfill the purposes for which they were acquired.

Specific security measures are implemented to prevent the loss of personal details, illicit or inappropriate use and unauthorized access.


Subjects whose personal details have been recorded are entitled at any time to obtain confirmation of the existence or non existence of the same details, be informed of the content and origin of the same, check the accuracy and request amendment, updating, or correction of the same (art. 7 of Legislative Decree no. 196/2003).

Pursuant to the abovementioned article of law, subjects are entitled to request the cancellation, transformation into anonymous form, or termination of processing of personal details deemed to be in infringement of legal regulations and to oppose, for legitimate reasons, the processing of the same in all cases.
